Baltic East must generate and feed first power to the grid by 17 December 2032 in order to retain its CfD support under the AMFW/1/2025 auction won on 17 December 2025. This is a statutory 7-year deadline from auction close under Article 33 of the Polish Offshore Wind Promotion Act 2020. Upon fulfilment of this obligation, the 25-year CfD support period commences. Developer guidance (ORLEN Neptun, December 2025 press release) states first electricity is expected in 2032 — aligned with the statutory deadline.
