ORLEN Neptun plans to bring the Baltic East offshore wind farm into full commercial operation in 2032. The project, located about 22.5 kilometres north of the Polish coastline near Choczewo and adjacent to the Baltic Power wind farm, is being developed in the 46.E.1 area of the Baltic Sea. According to ORLEN Neptun, Baltic East will occupy roughly 110–112 km², with water depths between 25 and 40 metres, and is designed for an installed capacity of around 966 MW, using several dozen turbines of 14+ MW on monopile or jacket foundations. Once operational, the wind farm is expected to supply clean electricity to more than 1.25 million Polish households, feeding power into the National Energy System from 2032 onwards.
