Description

The 17 October 2024 ministerial decision establishes that AO11 zones (second competition: RD + BNE for the fixed-bottom tranche) are targeted for operationality on the 2040 horizon. Full commercial operations for the AO11 fixed-bottom tranche (~4 GW) is therefore projected at 2040 (year precision), aligning with the PPE3 trajectory of 26 GW of offshore wind in service by 2040.
