Geophysical Survey Complete

By 2025, the geophysical survey campaign for the Golfe du Lion offshore wind farm area associated with AO10 Méditerranée Golfe du Lion had been completed, with results consolidated into a “Geophysical Survey – Factual Report – Golfe du Lion – 2025” published on the official eoliennesenmer.fr portal. The report’s stated purpose is to provide an interpretation of the collected geophysical data in order to better understand the main characteristics of the seabed and underlying geology at the project location and to support a derisking study for the Golfe du Lion windfarm site. Publication of this factual report in 2025 indicates that both the geophysical data acquisition and subsequent interpretation and reporting phases were finalised by that time, providing key site-characterisation inputs for the project’s early development.
