The 483 km² Fécamp Grand Large zone in the French Manche Est – Mer du Nord façade was designated as a priority area for offshore wind by the ministerial decision of 17 October 2024, following the "la mer en débat" national public debate. The zone hosts three fixed-bottom lots in the AO10 / Procédure de Mise en Concurrence n°1/2026 — Projets 1, 2 and 3 of Groupe PPE3 — each at 1,350–1,400 MW. Fécamp Grand Large 1 is the first lot in this zone, sharing the FEP zone designation, environmental envelope and offshore grid pairing (RTE-built) with sibling lots FGL2 (Projet 2) and FGL3 (Projet 3).
